One more sleep til Christmas and I’ll be over here enjoying a festive matcha yogurt bowl with all the fixins 🎄❤️!

The creaminess of the Greek yogurt pairs well with the earthiness of the matcha and when you add a drizzle of honey + berries, banana and granola you’ve got yourself a really tasty and healthy breakfast or snack ☺️

I added a little sprinkle of crushed peppermint candy for some ✨holiday cheer✨but that’s obviously v optional

🎀 Lily Joy Phillips 🎀 Our sweet little #rainbowbaby made her way into the world two weeks early and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfectly, precious Christmas gift

~ She was born the night of Dec 10th, weighing 5lbs 12oz, sporting a full head of hair & the longest lashes I’ve ever seen ~

@bayphillips and I have been in a newborn bliss bubble ever since and are so grateful for a smooth delivery, healthy baby and this time together as new parents

We are so in love with our little bundle of joy and are praising God for his perfect timing 💝

I started doing an annual ornament exchange after moving to Denver a few years ago but this was the first time hosting it at home and I loved the cozy vibes

We assembled & decorated gingerbread houses (which I quickly learned is NOT my forte 😅), sipped on mocktails, ate all the apps & sweet treats and swapped ornaments white elephant style

I’m so thankful to have made such lovely friends while putting down roots here in CO and I’m looking forward to seeing how this tradition continues to evolve next December! 🥰

#AD Spend a December evening with me at 38 weeks pregnant. 🎄❤️

A few highlights included a really lovely sunset walk with the pups, gentle stretches in front of our cozy fireplace and a little home dinner date featuring one of our favorite meals – @barillaus Protein+ Spaghetti (it has 17 grams of protein from chickpeas, lentils and peas per 3.5 oz serving!) with Bay’s famous homemade red sauce and a side salad. 🍝 I can always count on Barilla to provide great taste and quality to keep me fueled until I wrap my day.

I’ve been loving ending the evening with reading by the Christmas tree while sipping on peppermint tea. It’s such a simple form of self-care but honestly so helpful.

If you make one festive smoothie this season, trust me when I say you’re going to want to choose this decadent Peppermint Mocha Protein Shake ♥️

Be sure to SAVE this post so you have the recipe on hand all December!

Smoothie ingredients:
✨ 1 frozen banana
✨ 1 scoop mint chocolate protein powder (I use @truvani)
✨ 1 tbsp almond butter
✨ 1 tbsp collagen peptides (optional)
✨ 1 chilled shot of espresso
✨ 1 cup almond milk
✨ ice

Before blending, melt bittersweet chocolate and drizzle in glass. Pop in fridge to chill. Blend all smoothie ingredients and pour into chilled glass, topping with whipped cream, crushed peppermint and a fresh mint sprig 🍃

It’s so pretty and tastes amazing! I hope you all enjoy it ☺️

I for one am feeling so grateful and appreciate you all for following along and for your constant support of me, @mindfulmorningclub and @denverfitfriends. 2023 was a dark time after pregnancy loss, so looking back on how different this year has been really brings me to tears.

Only a few weeks left until the new year so I encourage you to take the remaining time to reflect on some of the joys & highs of this year and practice being fully present.
