These are a few that have made a very positive impact for me and that have worked for various seasons of my life

✨EAT COLORFULLY✨
I think it’s so important to focus on what you can “add” to a meal to make it more nourishing instead of focusing on restriction. One easy way to do that is to add more fruits and vegetables to each meal to make it more colorful & balanced 🥑🍎🍌🫐

✨MOVE FOR 30 MIN DAILY✨
I don’t workout every day but I do my best to squeeze in 30 minutes of intentional movement! Whether that be walking on my walking pad while in the office, playing with the pups in my backyard, doing some gentle stretches before bed, etc

✨ROMANTICIZE YOUR LIFE✨
This mindfulness tool is a way to see the beauty in the small, seemingly mundane moments of your day and to take the time to create your own little joys whenever you can. Whether that be watching the sunrise, hosting friends, taking a luxurious bath or having a candlelight dinner at home… there are so many ways to make every day moments more magical

✨PRIORITIZE GOOD SLEEP✨
Obviously this is a tough one for me currently as a new mom but let this be your reminder that choosing to sleep in on weekends or cancel a workout because your body needs extra rest does NOT make you lazy. You are not a machine and quality sleep is key for a healthier life

✨WRITE IN A JOURNAL✨
Whether you choose a guided piece like the 5 minute journal or a blank notebook of your own, there is power in recording your thoughts, writing out your ambitions and reflecting on what you’re grateful for

I have Galentine’s day on the mind and this iced strawberry milk matcha latte is such a perfect healthy treat for you or your girlfriends! 🍵
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The key is to use ceremonial grade matcha (culinary grade tends to be super bitter). I’m using @ippodoteausa Nodoka matcha in this video and i love how fragrant it is. 🌿💕 It works especially well when combined with the strawberries! 🍓

Tips for making the perfect matcha:
✨ Always sift your matcha first to avoid clumps
✨ Pour 1/4 cup hot (not boiling) water over matcha
✨ Whisk in a “M” or “W” shape until fully combined and frothy layer appears on top
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I prefer my matcha unsweetened but in this case, I did add a little sugar to the strawberry to make the purée before adding in the plant based milk.

It’s no secret that yoga changed my life in so many incredible ways. It helped me heal my heart in my early twenties, led to the creation of my blog & this career path, inspired me to get certified to teach, pushed me to lead & teach so many amazing events across the country including a weekend wellness retreat last year, and so much more

During my pregnancy I stopped going to hot yoga studios (which had become such a favorite) so one of my biggest goals this year is to reconnect with my personal practice again. And I can’t wait to get back to heated vinyasa classes and yoga sculpt at some of my fav studios 🔥

I know my content has shifted and changed so much over the years so no matter when you started following along, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart

Although the only bottle service I was participating in this NYE was in our bedroom at midnight for baby girl 🍼, I did manage to find some time yesterday to make a ✨vision board✨ for the new year!

This is one of my favorite things to do on Dec 31st. It’s a great way to help clearly define your goals and have a visual reminder that can serve as positive reinforcement throughout the year 🤍

Along with a vision board I also love to choose a word for the year… and for 2025 I’m leaning into JOY

✨Finding joy in this new chapter of motherhood
✨Creating space for friendships, hobbies, partnerships & activities that bring me happiness
✨Looking for silver linings during any challenges
✨Being grateful for all of the good in my day to day
