We are just a few weeks away from meeting our little rainbow baby, which feels so surreal to say. It’s probably no surprise that I’ve been deep in nesting mode and am so excited to finally share our nursery with you all! What once was my husbands very dark, grey office has now been transformed into a cheerful, cozy little haven. I guess it’s no surprise that the nursery has quickly become one of my favorite rooms in our home and I can’t wait to spend time here with our baby girl.
I’ve included links to everything you see in case you’re looking to decorate a nursery of your own! The crib, glider and dresser were all kindly gifted by DaVinci Baby and I highly recommend them. All of the pieces are such high quality and matched the aesthetic I was going for perfectly. I’m so grateful that our little girl will have pieces that she can grow with into her toddler years!
When I created my nursery mood board, one of the most important things I wanted to start with was selecting a lovely wallpaper to play off. This “Field Frolic” one from Nestig featured such a sweet floral design with baby bunnies, ducks and bees. The second I saw it I knew I wanted it to represent the theme of the whole nursery.
Once the wallpaper was ordered it was time to choose the right paint color. I love this subtle shade of pink called Pink Bliss by Benjamin Moore. It matched the wallpaper and adds just a hint of color.
Once the walls were done it was time to add furniture, window trimmings and all the decor! I fell in love with these blackout curtains with little bow details and the faux olive tree added a much needed pop of green.
The crib mobile mimics the bees on the wallpaper and is such a cheery, cute design! They’re from an eco-friendly, woman-owned company based in Nepal and each of their pieces are handmade with 100% wool felt with wool stuffing. They have quite a few other designs that match lots of different nursery themes!
The scallop dresser is one of my favorite pieces in our nursery! I replaced the original knobs with these gold bows and filled the drawers with diapers, wipes, baby tools, burp cloths, onesies, blankets, towels and sleep sacks. It’s functional but sooo pretty! The top of our dresser will serve as a changing station so we will be adding our changing pad and wipe warmer very soon.
Above our glider we have a story time corner filled with baby books we’ve received from friends and family! The wooden “Once Upon a Time” sign was an Etsy find and I love that the scallop bookshelves match the bottom of our dresser.
The bunny doll is handmade from Cuddle & Kind (I’m obsessed with all of their designs!) and each purchase feeds 10 children in need.
We removed the closet doors to give a more open feeling since the room is pretty small. The cube storage is perfect for storing toys, books, crib sheets and more necessities. One of my favorite things has been to wash and hang up all of her teeny little clothes!
These little wooden closet dividers are perfect for staying organized and helped us get a quick glance of what outfits we still needed more of. I plan to add baskets and more organizers to the top shelf of the closet but for now, we don’t have much else to add!
I found the most charming bunny prints with bows and flowers and placed them in these scallop pink frames. They add a little pop of color to the wall and fit the theme so perfectly!
And of course we couldn’t leave our fur babies out! I ordered a custom watercolor on Etsy of the two of them and seeing their little faces on the dresser is so sweet.
And that pretty much wraps my nursery tour! I hope you all enjoyed seeing all the little details. I have a few more things I’ll be wanting to add (like a baby monitor, hamper, etc) but for now, it’s as ready as it needs to be for baby girl’s arrival.
