Spring is officially in the air and with it an array of beautiful cherry blossoms can be spotted all over NYC. Admittedly, it’s one of my favorite aspects of living in the Northeast. Having grown up in Florida, a land of endless Summer, I get extra googly eyed whenever I get to experience the more magical aspects of the four seasons. Yep — I even like Winter during the first few snowfalls (and then, just like every other New Yorker, I hate when it goes on too long). This year has been particularly brutal in the weather department seeing as it’s just now getting warm and we’re already well into May. But no matter! The birds are chirping, blossoms are blooming and all the rooftops and outdoor cafes are buzzing with activity. As for me, I’m actually in the air heading down to the Sunshine State itself but I figured I’d knock out this quick little OOTD post for ya’ll before the blossoms disappear and it’s completely irrelevant.
I recently was sent several outfits to style by Banana Republic (*swoon) and I fell head over heels for this little white dress. I honestly think a good LWD is an essential in any wardrobe, particularly in the Spring and Summer months. This one happens to be made of linen and has the most lovely design details that make it super simple to wear on any occasion. Except at a wedding of course (please don’t show up to a wedding in white…ever). I’m also a big fan of fit and flare dresses like this one. They look good on literally every body type!
As someone who is constantly running around from meetings to workouts to events, my most worn pieces tend to be the most versatile. I love that I can easily switch up this look by simply swapping out a few accessories. See how I take it from daytime to date night:
Daytime
The “cool” girl way of styling any dress this season is by pairing it with a pair of white sneakers. Does it make you trendy? Yes. Does it make you comfortable? Definitely yes. Does it make you original? No. 😉 I can’t tell you how many blogger events I’ve shown up to where the majority, if not all of us, were there in dresses and white sneakers. It’s either that or yoga pants… but that obviously just comes with the territory of being a fitness blogger.
I love the white and white combo because it’s just so light and airy. I’m able to run errands, go to meetings, attend events, and thanks to the sneakers, I can do it all without the need to call an Uber.
To complete the look, I love throwing on a denim jacket and neutral color handbag. This dome shaped nude crossbody has quickly become one of my favorites and I’ve been wearing it with multiple outfits!

Date Night
If I’m going out with Bay or even somewhere fun with my girlfriends, I can easily switch up the feel of this little white dress with just three new accessories: strappy red, block heels + a gold, metallic clutch + big statement earrings.
Bring on the cocktails because this is one look I know I’ll be sporting on a few of my favorite rooftop bars this Summer. The heels are comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time and the red suede gives the outfit a much needed pop of color. I actually picked up these earrings from Zara in Normandy, France but unfortunately it looks like they only have them in black now.
I’ve linked a similar pair of statement earrings below!

And there you have it — one dress, two looks. I hope you all enjoyed this style post and let me know if you’d like to see more! By the way, all of these photos were taken by my friend Wini Lao. If you’re a blogger in NYC and are in need of photos, I can’t recommend her enough!
It’s almost time for the FlyFi to turn off and for me to land in sunny, Florida, so I’ll have to say goodbye for now. Hope you all have a lovely day!
